History of the Future was the title of a two-years program (from 2015 to 2017) for the Architectural Design Studio at the University of Genova, professors Valter Scelsi and Francesco Librizzi.
The Gatehouse
The three phases of this assignment (first term 2015) were: 1) the choice of a monumental gate (such as a triumphal arch or an ancient door); 2) its transfer to any place on the planet; 3) the insert of a small house or a flat inside it.
Ordinary Rooms
The two phases of this assignment (first term 2016) were: 1) the choice of a 20th Century masterpiece house; 2) the relocation of it in the territory of Genoa.
Ordinary Rooms was also the title of the exhibition of 23 Risograph prints curated by Elisabetta Canepa at DAD, University of Genova, May 8, 2018.
Moreover, Ordinary Rooms is a book edited by Elisabetta Canepa and published by Sagep.
