In November 2015 the Politecnico of Turin organized an exhibition dedicated to the two Italian architects Roberto Gabetti and Aimaro Isola. At the Ex-Stock Exchange of Values of Turin, designed by Gabetti and Isola, are exposed preparatory sketches, paintings, models and projects and screened 10 films who deal with the work of the two architects in some different ways.
The architecture is a fickle form that relates to the environment in many different ways. Gabetti and Isola have made this relationship their poetic look: a process of studies and accomplishments that gave rise to egocentric and imperious palaces that want to deviate from the surrounding, as well as buildings that take the forms of nature, to merge with it and be, at first glance, tiny invisible fumes. The buildings of the couple of architects become almost human: they tell as he-building, she-nature, and their possible meetings.
